My name is Duncan Farquhar L.R.P.S. and I am a landscape photographer based nr  Glasgow. I have  been interested in photography from an early age, and I am now a full time landscape photographer.  
My work is widely published and I am  also represented by a number of picture libraries.

I have always been a fan of Nikon equipment and have used their 35mm film cameras for a number of years.

I have “gone” completely digital and now use a Nikon  professional camera with a variety of lenses. I use a Manfrotto tripod  for stability .  Filters are not something I rely on, however I do use a skylight or UV filter
for lens protection as much as  anything. I occasionally use a  polariser to remove reflections and darken blue skies.  I also use neutral density filters in  various strengths .Any filters I do use by Lee  due to their high quality
and being free of colour casts.

All photographs on this site are available for purchase as mounted prints & greeting cards- see the  prints page .
The photographs are also available for all types of publishing on a rights managed basis - Please contact me for licensing.

My main interest is Landscape Photography as can be seen from the galleries on this site and I specialise in Scottish scenes  and views. This is perhaps not surprising as I am based in Scotland. I also have a  growing
collection of flowers & gardens  and a smaller selection of wildlife. Although Scotland is my main interest I travel throughout Britain and have included  views from England.

I also have a range of  panoramic photographs and I have included a selection in the Panoramic gallery. These can be  supplied mounted or unmounted.

In June 2010 I was pleased to be awarded the Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society, this followed a submission of prints for assessment which covered a range of landscape subjects. The Royal Photographic
Society is one of the major photographic organisations in Britain and is also respected  throughout the World. Here is the panel of work which I submitted.  RPS Panel

As well as landscape photography I undertake commercial work including product photography, Hotels etc., interiors, exteriors, night shots. I am available for  commissions and will undertake most commercial subjects
except weddings.
