Highland is the largest local government area in the United Kingdom. It was formed by the old areas of Inverness-shire, Nairnshire, Caithness, Sutherland small parts of Moray & Argyll.

Here you will see very diverse scenery from the rugged scenery of the North West Highlands to the east coast of Scotland. Highland takes in many places such as Inverness the administrative centre. The Islands including the Inner & Outer Hebrides , The Orkneys & Shetland Isles.

I spend at lot of time in this area and is reflected in the images on this site. It doesn't rain all the time! and there is nothing quite like walking along a beautiful sandy beach with no one else in sight
